U.S. Fulbright Student Ambassador Visits UNE!

On Wednesday, February 23rd 2011Universidad del Este received the visit of Ms. Deborah Purce, a Fulbright U.S. Student Ambassador (2007 – 2008 Ecology & Environmental Studies – Chile).  Deborah presented to a packed room of over 40 students and faculty members to provide information about the Fulbright U.S. Student Scholarship Program.  Deborah, who conducted marine ecology and coastal management research as a U.S. Fulbrighter in Chile (2007-2008), spoke about her wonderful experience as a U.S. Fulbrighter and gave students valuable information about the history, purpose, application process and benefits of study abroad through the U.S. Fulbright Program.
