Tomorrow a group of 22 students of the UNE José A. (Tony) Santana International School of Hospitality & Culinary Arts (ISHCA) will set out for Europe and make one of their most exciting dreams come true by participating in an educational tour that will introduce them to the history, tourist attractions and gastronomy of some of the most important cities in Europe.
The countries that the students will be visiting include: France, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, Italy, the Vatican City, Monaco and Spain. The 22 day tour itinerary will take the students to visit some of the world’s largest tourism meccas, such as: Paris, Amsterdam, Prague, Verona, Venice, Rome, Barcelona, Zaragoza, Madrid, among others.
The group of students, anxious to step out onto the global stage, will be accompanied by Professor Nannette Mendez, a Pastry Chef Instructor at the UNE ISHCA. You can stay up to date on the students’ adventures here on the UNE International Education Blog, where the group plans to share photos and stories about their experiences during the tour.
Professor Méndez and the group of students would like to express their sincere appreciation to all of those who helped them to make this dream become a reality.
